Sustainable Apparel Coalition (SAC)
The SAC is the apparel and textile industry’s leading alliance for sustainable production.
“Being a member means we commit to the widespread implementation of the Higg Index and we are well underway with this journey,” says Jimmy Christopher, Group Sustainability Officer at ITL.
“The membership will also allow ITL to collaborate with industry peers and leverage support from the SAC to drive improvement in environmental and social sustainability and transparency,” says Christopher.
United Nations Global Compact
The UN Global Compact aims to mobilize a global movement of sustainable companies and stakeholders to create the world we want.
“By becoming a signatory of the UN Global Compact, we vow to uphold their 10 Principles regarding Human Rights, Labour, Environment and Anti-Corruption as well as take strategic action to advance the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs),” says Christopher.
