European textile groups call for ‘meaningful’ fee on fast fashion imports
A consortium of European textile groups have called for a “meaningful” handling fee on direct-to-consumer parcels, stating that the newly introduced €3 ($3.5) customs duty on low-value consignments does not sufficiently cover the true costs of customs processing and market surveillance.
