Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris has unveiled its trend book for the Spring-Summer 2026 season, offering a glimpse into the future of fashion design.

Named Néocène, the trend book will be introduced at the upcoming Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris event, scheduled for 10-12 February 2025 at the Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre.

This book presents a series of creative explorations where emotions strive to dominate raw materials.

Néocène is a visionary exploration conceived by Louis Gérin and Grégory Lamaud, artist directors of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris. It delves into a world in the midst of significant transformation.

Created amidst intense economic, societal, and environmental challenges, the guide synthesises insights from an array of industry experts including stylists, designers, graphic artists, writers, and scenographers.

It outlines four principal themes, providing an aesthetic blueprint to assist fashion designers and purchasers in shape their spring-summer 2026 lines.

One wardrobe encompasses four distinct realms (Themes):

Néocène signifies a new epoch devoid of human presence, representing an undefined frontier governed solely by physical laws. Each theme within the trend guide encapsulates a creative realm centred around particular materials and three "star colours" with six transitional hues. The introductory section previews these colours as a sneak peek into the upcoming collection palettes.

Quantum: This domain is characterised by atomic energy, randomness, and liberty. It revisits the essence of matter with materials that hover between fluidity and incandescence. Here, supple textures and voluminous shapes thrive, expressing themselves through a vibrant colour scheme reminiscent of sunshine: spicy notes alongside tan and caramel hues are prominent.

Gravity: This theme contemplates the universe's structure as an unseen interconnectedness. It explores gravity's dual connotations—both tangible weight and emotional depth. Materials evoke minerals and sand; patterns are geometrically repetitive or sequential. Aquatic textures along with biomimetic and fauna-inspired shapes find relevance here. The colour scheme is muted yet natural.

Relativity: This concept deepens the investigation initiated by Gravity until its premises invert: beauty emerges from ugliness; stillness gives way to momentum. A realm filled with paradoxes where graphic designs portray a petrified plant world supported by line work resembling imprints and draped fabrics that serve as remnants of a bygone era. The colour palette includes ash tones, ink-like blues, and deep mauves.

Magnetism: Offering a stark contrast to other themes, this segment celebrates structure and rebirth while introducing elements of lightness and delicacy to design. Transparency becomes pronounced alongside floral patterns and flowing lines that convey comfort. The colour selection resonates with the theme's emotive nature: soft pastels like marshmallow, peach, and blush pink dominate.

A redesigned layout enhances synergies:

The relocation of Texworld Apparel Sourcing Paris back to Halls 2, 3, and 4 at Paris-Le-Bourget Exhibition Centre comes with a revamped spatial arrangement aimed at enriching the purchasing experience.

Centralised in Hall 2 is the Trends Forum showcasing the dynamic quartet of themes alongside essential services such as the Agora for interactive conferences and panel discussions as well as welcoming dining options.

Product sectors from Texworld and Apparel Sourcing have been strategically amalgamated to foster synergies with dedicated zones for women's apparel (Hall 4) and outdoor-sportswear-casualwear (Hall 3).
