Texhibition Istanbul, hosted at the Istanbul Expo Centre, is expected to offer a diverse array of textile-related products and serve as a platform to address the environmental impacts and challenges associated with climate change.

The fair, which also provides the opportunity for international networking is expected to attract an audience of over 25,000 trade visitors representing more than 100 countries, including key markets such as the EU, UK, US, North Africa, and Middle East.

Spanning 15,000 square metres of exhibition space, Texhibition Istanbul will present a comprehensive range of products including woven fabrics, knitwear, denim, accessories, and artificial leather.

This year's Texhibition Istanbul holds the theme of United for Climate in Textiles, which is an effort to combat and inspire shared responsible action for the health of the planet and future generations.

The event's mission is to showcase sustainable practices, technological innovations and industrial awareness for a collective response.

Texhibition plans to raise awareness, mobilise support and encourage action to help communities and ecosystems deal with changing conditions.

Exhibitors are required to meet specific sustainable criteria in order to secure a stand at the event.

The event's organisers cite Türkiye as being the world's fifth-largest textile supplier and the second largest within the EU.

Texhibition Istanbul aims to share insights on what Türkiye has to offer, reveal the latest trends, and foster collaborations that will contribute to the industry's growth.

The event also has a line-up of seminars and workshops designed to provide insights into the latest production techniques and design innovations. These sessions offer attendees a chance to stay up-to-date on industry advancements and gain valuable knowledge.

The third edition of Texhibition Istanbul, which took place in March focused on sustainability.

Last week (18 August), Just style reported on how Türkiye's clothing suppliers are navigating market turbulence, despite world-economy related order softness.
