The award is presented biannually to recognise emerging developments in the textile and apparel industries, identified by specialists up to two years prior. The recipients are announced during the ISPO Munich event and the OutDoor Textrends exhibition.

Produced in Pakistan and spearheaded by Interloop Europe, Socklab has distinguished itself as the premier Cradle to Cradle Certified GOLD sock brand on a global scale.

Its inclusion in the ISPO Munich TEXTRENDS Trendbook is indicative of its role in shaping the future of eco-conscious, high-performance hosiery.

Socklab’s Cradle to Cradle products are thoughtfully designed using materials that can be infinitely recycled or safely decomposed. The objective is to create products in a manner that eliminates waste entirely. In the rare instance that waste does arise, it is repurposed as a valuable resource for producing new items.

Following a successful initial order, Socklab is poised to introduce its groundbreaking, environmentally responsible offerings to a broader consumer base.

Interloop Limited CEO Navid Fazil said: "Socklab challenges the industry to rethink how we create—pushing boundaries in sustainability and innovation. This award is proof that change is possible, and it’s time we make it happen together.”

Socklab has been designed to deliver unparalleled comfort to its wearers while maintaining an impressively small ecological footprint.

Every component involved in their manufacturing process meets rigorous environmental standards. These socks benefit not just the end-users but also those who craft them, thereby completing a virtuous cycle of sustainability.
