Value retailer Primark is adding womenswear, its most popular range, to its Click + Collect service for the first time.

Previously, the service has only been available for a limited number of children’s and nursery ranges as Primark trails a Click + Collect service. Primark’s Click + Collect  service only launched last year, after years of focus on in-store sales.

Starting on 13 September, consumers will be able to Click + Collect up to 1,000 womenswear products at 57 Primark stores, taking the total number of products available to purchase from Primark online to around 2,500.

Stores offering the Click + Collect service will include London’s Oxford Street store and those in the centre of Manchester, Liverpool and Sheffield. Smaller high street stores such as Hackney and Hammersmith, Lancaster and Llandudno will also be included in the roll-out.

Primark says: “The move into Womenswear, Primark’s most popular category by far, will offer customers much broader choice, greater convenience and even more reasons to visit their local high street.”

The change will make items usually only found at larger stores available to a wider range of consumers.

Ranges included in the Click + Collect section include Primark’s Autumn and Winter collections, including its more premium Edit range, which is currently only available in a small number of UK stores.

In-store bestsellers will also be available in an expanded range of colours and styles on the website, including online exclusives.

The Click + Collect range will also include special products such as Primark’s ‘supporting women for life’ ranges including maternity, breast cancer, period pants and menopause collections.

Primark says that consumers who cannot access one of the 57 stores included in the Click + Collect service will be able to use the Primark website to check stock before visiting their local store.

Earlier this summer, Primark expanded its Click + Collect trials in London, while also announcing that is had dropped prices on hundreds of essential kidswear products.
