Première Vision Paris, which is taking place at the Parc des Expositions, Paris Nord Villepinte, is expecting nearly 1,200 international exhibitors with 73 newcomers representing spinning, weaving, tanning, designing, accessories and components.
The event will also feature garment manufacturers from 42 countries, including Italy, France, Spain, Korea, Japan, and the UK.
A programme featuring over 30 sessions will tap into current sector themes such as combining profitability and eco-responsibility, adapting sourcing strategies to the new fashion landscape, tailoring climate action in the EU fashion industry, and addressing the consequences of toxic dyes.
The three-day event is described as serving as a hub for inspiration, idea-sharing, and the creation of future collections in the realms of ready-to-wear, and accessories, including fashion jewellery, leather goods, and footwear.
The event will feature eight “universes” catering to the creative fashion market:
- Yarns: Showcasing yarns and fibres
- Fabrics: Highlighting textiles
- Designs: Featuring textile designs and motifs
- Accessories: Showcasing accessories and components
- Manufacturing: Focusing on fashion manufacturing
- Smart Creation: Spotlighting technical and technological innovations, sustainable materials
- Maison d’Exceptions: Featuring exclusive know-hows
- Leather: Spotlighting the leather industry
360° Leather - from farm to tech
With the leather industry evolving to meet new challenges beyond traditional technical concerns, the event hopes to spotlight both quality and volume expectations, environmental preservation, and traceability issues.
Première Vision Paris will shed light on the industry's transformation and the future and key features will include:
- PV leather hub: Comprising the "Leather Forum," showcasing exhibitors' innovations, the "Industry Innovation" hub presenting solutions from companies specialising in agriculture, environment, and tech, and the Platinum executive lounge for members of the Platinum programme.
- Les Tanneurs Français: A village uniting 14 French tanneries and the French Federation of Tanners (FFTM) under one banner.
- FFTM x IFM exhibition: Students from the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) will exhibit leather goods projects using leathers from French tanners.
A push for eco-responsible fashion
Building on the event's “a better way” programme, which launched in July 2023, the February edition plans to feature manufacturing and smart materials alongside fabrics, yarns, and leather.
The inclusion of deadstock materials by industry experts Adapta, Nona Source, and L’Atelier des Matières and a dedicated area for deadstock from PV Paris exhibitors will be featured at the show.
Première Vision Paris to spotlight young designers
For the first time, Première Vision Paris is extending its programme to fashion students eager to explore the world of creative fashion.
The event will welcome 10 finalists of the Hyères International Festival of Fashion, Photography, and Accessories, offering them a platform to source materials for their upcoming collections.
