Infor says its new platform technology innovations and enhancements to its fashion-specific CloudSuite aims to help fashion organisations operate more quickly and efficiently.
The additions to Infor's CloudSuite solution for fashion are said to promote sustainable product innovation and help fashion brands drive profitability and adapt to market trends.
The updates include:
- Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) for fashion: Infor's PLM solution helps fashion brands make informed, sustainable decisions. This tool aids fashion brands in designing and developing new collections and styles while assessing costs, materials and environmental impacts.
- Infor Nexus supply chain network capabilities: These offer fashion brands greater transparency and control over their global sourcing supply chain. The Infor Nexus network provides additional visibility into the supply chain, including "plan to ship," carrier routes, automated advanced shipping notices (ASNs), and invoice processing.
- Merchandise and assortment planning partnership: These streamline planning processes and accelerate deployment with pre-configured, customisable templates. In collaboration with Foresight Retail, Infor's CloudSuite Fashion now offers financial planning, assortment planning, forecasting, inventory allocation, and replenishment support in a single platform.
Infor president and CTO Soma Somasundaram explains: "The innovations that we are delivering with our October release will enable customers to boost agility, leverage data-driven insights for improved decision-making and get access to industry-specific solutions out of the box.
"They are designed to help customers automate business processes, achieve business results faster and pave the way for business transformation.”
Infor has also introduced the Infor Enterprise Automation solution which comprises a suite of multi-tenant cloud services under Infor Operating Service (Infor OS), developed in collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
Infor says its primary objective is to facilitate the expansion of automation capabilities across businesses by integrating data integration, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and robotic process automation (RPA) into a unified platform.
