Infor has combined its interface with Made2Flow, which specialises in the analysis and validation of environmental data in the fashion industry, to automate the necessary data flow and impact calculations that underpin comprehensive environmental assessments.
By capturing data across the entire supply chain spectrum – from yarn suppliers and fabric manufacturers to garment producers – the interface empowers fashion brands with real-time, useful metrics essential for effective monitoring, measurement, and analysis.
According to the release, this approach not only enhances visibility into the broader context of the fashion lifecycle but also facilitates ongoing collaboration to meet sustainability goals and communicate transparently with stakeholders.
Addressing these critical concerns, the interface between Infor and Made2Flow streamlines data processing, fosters transparency across the production supply chain, and enables traceability and impact measurement across multiple tiers of the fashion ecosystem.
The release mentions that with sustainability taking centre stage in the fashion industry, brands are under mounting pressure to quantify and mitigate their environmental impact while aligning with impending regulations such as the EU Product Environmental Footprint Category Rules (PEFCR) and Digital Product Passport.
Helene Behrenfeldt, industry and solution strategy director for the fashion sector at Infor said: “In addition to being able to expedite design and development time by up to 50% we can offer a capability that allows fashion companies to perform environmental impact measurements across their supply chain, and identify areas which can be adjusted to reduce carbon footprints with real-time recommendations.”
Made2Flow attributes overcoming data gaps, being able to validate data, and allowing brands and suppliers to understand their impact hotspots through its Bill of Processes (BOP).
Tal Shogol, CEO of Made2Flow, emphasised the significance of partnerships in this realm, stating: “Developing regulations force fashion brands not only to use impact measurement as a consumer-facing solution but for internal purpose to control in real-time impact reduction activities.
"Thanks to the collaboration and interface with Infor, brands will be able to accurately measure their sustainability efforts and drive to faster impact reduction as an intuitive working tool and increase their sustainability ROI.”
