From freak weather events to soaring inflation and the fallout of global conflicts leading to dampened consumer spending, 2024 has been another challenging year for the global apparel industry. On the other hand, developments have been made in the areas of AI and technology and we have seen greater collaborative efforts around sustainability. Could 2025 be the turnaround we’ve all been waiting for? It’s anyone’s guess and we look forward to seeing what developments the new year will bring.
