The Global Fashion Summit will take place on 3-5 June 2025 at the Copenhagen Concert Hall, Denmark. This forum for sustainability in fashion will take place under the patronage of Queen of Denmark with registration now open for attendees.
The theme ‘Barriers and Bridges’, follows this year's event under the theme ‘Unlocking The Next Level‘ in Shanghai, China.
The 2025 Copenhagen Edition will bring together key stakeholders from across the fashion ecosystem and related industries to discuss the dual aspects of this critical moment. It will explore how new obstacles can be used as stepping stones for meaningful change.
The fashion industry is facing increasing pressure to evolve and comply with a complex and fast-changing regulatory landscape. As regulations tighten and voluntary initiatives become more integrated with mandatory requirements, the need for both strategic investment and bold leadership is more urgent than ever.
The summit will focus on collective action, addressing both social and environmental challenges within the fashion industry, and showcasing how today’s barriers and bridges are shaping sustainability strategies.
These topics will be explored across three stages, with speakers sharing insights on how to balance the competing demands of business and sustainability from achieving climate leadership, regulatory compliance to radical innovation, and immediate opportunities with long-term goals.
An integral part of the summit, the Innovation Forum, will present a range of sustainable solutions spanning the entire fashion value chain.
This includes innovative materials and advanced processes for end-of-life garment management.
Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with solution providers and participate in a Matchmaking Programme designed to foster collaborations that can enhance their sustainability efforts.
GFA chief executive officer Federica Marchionni said: “Fashion is one of the world’s most dynamic and influential industries, with the power to drive change globally.
“Climate adaptation is now as crucial as mitigation. Transformation requires more than incremental change; it demands bold leadership, courageous investment, and the drive to reimagine business models. In this era of transformation, Global Fashion Summit is critical to enabling collaboration and guiding implementation.”
