In a bid to foster joint initiatives and raise public awareness, Crystal Denim has sponsored the Hong Kong Denim Festival, organised by the Hong Kong Design Institute.
Themed "Design Frontiers – Promoting Global Denim Cultural Exchange and Collaboration," the festival serves as a platform for local and international designers, entrepreneurs, students and the public to engage in discussions about denim culture.
Crystal Denim, as one of the event sponsors, will showcase its eco-denim collections and actively participate in a panel discussion, shedding light on its commitment to circularity in denim.
In addition to the Hong Kong Denim Festival, Crystal International has entered into a partnership with The Mills Fabrica, a solutions platform for tech innovations and sustainable fashion, for the 9-month Denim Futures campaign.
As an apparel manufacturer, Crystal International said it recognises its role in showcasing sustainable manufacturing processes at the exhibition.
The campaign aims to educate audiences on the entire denim production cycle, from materials selection and garment manufacturing through to finishing, washing, and recycling solutions.
Alongside industry partners, Crystal International is presenting its net-zero commitment, in the hopes of promoting a greener future for denim.
Crystal International aims to drive innovation through more strategic partnerships and unleash the power of collaboration on a global scale.
Emphasising the importance of collaboration, Catherine Chiu, vice president of global sustainability at Crystal International, said: “We treasure every opportunity to unlock new collaborations and we see our responsibility to cross over the expertise both locally and globally.
“While scaling sustainability with our own initiatives, the public on the other side is also motivating our sustainable efforts beyond as they are paying increasing attention to the sustainability of fashion brands."
