CherryField is a global textile provider with operations in 10 countries including Vietnam, Turkey, Laos, Cambodia, and Bangladesh, including marketing offices in London and New York.

The company pointed out that this acquisition is in alignment with its strategy to enhance global competitiveness, offering significant commercial advantages such as competitive pricing, and reliable, customer-centric services.

Tali Shladov, CEO of CherryField, believes this strategic move is poised to amplify the company's product range, particularly in the USA, enabling clients to enhance competitiveness in both pricing and quality while maintaining a sustainable operation.

Shladov continued: "We are delighted to unveil the acquisition of Africa Apparels, now rebranded as CherryField Apparels. This manufacturing facility boasts cutting-edge features such as a premium water recycling system and advanced laser equipment. In addition to enhanced commercial benefits, at the heart of CherryField's ethos is the belief that a company thrives when its employees are smiling. Our commitment to fostering a positive and equitable work environment with avenues for professional growth remains unwavering at CherryField Apparels."

Africa Apparels, founded in April 2007, is said to be a leading manufacturer of denim jeans and bottoms targeting the USA and European markets. The company also boasts an in-house design team that integrates its raw material development and sourcing services to provide full-package production.

CherryField shared that it is committed to sustainability and prioritises the use of environmentally friendly fabrics like OekoTex certified materials, organic cotton, and recycled inputs, ensuring products are high quality and eco-conscious.

The company added these practices ensure safer working conditions by limiting exposure to hazardous substances and offer extensive customisation, helping to avoid overproduction.

Recently, technology solutions provider Lectra acquired a majority stake in US cloud-based SaaS marketing solutions platform Launchmetrics to solidify its position as an “essential” industry 4.0 player.
