USA: Bon-Ton Makes Room At The Top For New Chiefs
The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc (Nasdaq: BONT) announced it has restructured the company's corporate merchandising areas involving intimate apparel, men's and cosmetics categories. The changes become effective August 7, 2000.Robert Geisenberger, 40, was promoted to senior vice president, general merchandise manager, Home and Intimate Apparel. Prior to the promotion, Mr Geisenberger was divisional vice president, divisional merchandise manager, soft home and furniture. Mr Geisenberger will report to Frank Tworecke, vice chairman and chief merchandising officer. Mr Geisenberger joined The Bon-Ton in 1993 and has over 20 years of retail experience. Jeffrey Moore, 33, was promoted to vice president, divisional merchandise manager. Reporting to M. Moore will be the divisional vice president, divisional merchandise manager, cosmetics and the young men's and men's collections buyers. Mr. Moore will continue to report to Gary Kellman, senior vice president, general merchandise manager.Frank Tworecke, vice chairman and hief merchandising officer, commented: "The promotions of Bob and Jeff will further enhance The Bon-Ton's Home, Intimate Apparel, Cosmetics and Men's teams.
