Ted Baker has commenced a search for a new chairperson, with Helena Feltham remaining as interim chair at present.
Andrew Jennings OBE, who previously notified the company of his intention to step down from the board on 29 January 2022, has agreed to stay on as a non-executive director until the 2022 Annual General Meeting at the latest.

This step will provide continuity to the board, Ted Baker says, adding Jennings will also continue in his role as chair of the Remuneration Committee.
Meanwhile, Meg Lustman will assume the role of non-executive director responsible for employee engagement, currently held by Feltham, with effect from 29 January.
Ted Baker announced the death of Barton on 6 December.
Barton joined the Ted Baker board as chairman in July 2020. He previously served as chair of Next Plc and Cable and Wireless Plc.
Ted Baker said Barton’s death was “sudden” but did not elaborate further.
“John was a source of great wisdom for me and for so many of us at Ted Baker and we will hugely miss his support and guidance. Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with his wife, Anne, and their family,” Rachel Osborne, chief executive, said earlier this month.
Ted Baker recently reported its interim results for the half-year to 14 August announcing narrower losses with revenues up 17.6% year on year.
