The duo explained that the joint solution from KM.ON and Style3D, Assyst will provide companies with the opportunity to “visualise and produce their collections more efficiently.”
They believe integrating the two programs will allow designers and product developers to create and visualise fully fashioned knitwear patterns, including complex techniques like Cable, Aran, Pointelle, Jacquard, and Intarsia, using KM.ON software.
Designers can also work with digital yarns and seamlessly transfer their designs to Style3D Studio through a jointly developed plugin.
Style3D Studio reportedly enables the 3D simulation of knitwear designs on an avatar, including features like styling, animations, and sharing via QR code or link. Moreover, its AI rendering module allows for digital photoshoots, making it ideal for eCommerce, showrooms, and promotional activities.
The software integration is available from Style3D Studio 7.0 and Style3D Studio 7.1 and in the ‘Create Design’ software at all release levels.
Last year, Style3D CEO Eric Liu shared in an interview with Just Style how the company is adapting to shifting trends, streamlining the supply chain, and leveraging technology to bridge the gap between fashion suppliers and designers.
