
Under the partnership, German tech company Retraced will collaborate closely with the Rotterdorf-based fashion brand S. Oliver Group to further develop the platform, focusing on critical human rights issues such as digital risk management and implementing risk prevention measures in the supply chain. This joint effort aims to promote accountability and responsible practices throughout the fashion industry.
“International supply chains are complex and dynamic. It is therefore important that all stakeholders within the textile industry and beyond work together to create the necessary transparency,” said Oliver Hein, chief operating officer of the S. Oliver Group. “We are aware that with greater transparency comes greater accountability. However, this is necessary in order to define targeted measures and ensure their effectiveness. This is the only way we can take a holistic view of social and environmental responsibility and develop further.”
With the successful onboarding of S. Oliver Group suppliers onto the platform, the partnership aims to expand the digital network to encompass the deeper layers of the supply chain, achieving full traceability for every product through Retraced. This cos an opportunity for the company to not only strengthens communication, transparency, and credibility towards customers and trading partners but also encourage responsible consumption and conscious purchasing decisions.
Recognising the evolving demands placed on companies, supply chains, and products, Retraced and the S. Oliver Group will work together to further enhance the platform’s functionalities.
