Full-service apparel design and manufacturing company Quality Worldwide is turning to cloud-based product lifecycle management (PLM) and supply chain management (SCM) solutions to support its global operations and improve efficiencies.
The business, which opened its doors to apparel manufacturing and importing in 2000, provides R&D, design, sourcing, product development, production, and logistics services for brands and retailers in all markets, including sportswear, activewear, outdoor, and luxury.
It is implementing New Generation Computing’s (NGC) Andromeda Cloud Platform, including PLM, SCM and quality control, as well as the firm’s ERP solution, to deliver a higher level of service and support for its customers.
Previously, the company relied on a combination of spreadsheets and other applications to manage its business but has recognised the need to invest in a solution that would support its continued growth and improve operating efficiencies, turnaround time and accuracy.
“From a manager perspective, one of the top benefits of implementing NGC’s solutions are the ability to create a dashboard that lets me see an ongoing, up-to-minute view of how the business is doing, with all the information I need at my fingertips to ensure products are on time for our customers,” said Dave Williams, vice president, production and sourcing, at Quality Worldwide.
“It’s exciting to help Quality Worldwide transform its rapidly growing business with NGC’s solutions,” added Mark Burstein, president, NGC. “We look forward to working with them to increase speed to market and efficiency.”
