This is the second time IAF and ITMF have partnered to host their annual events and it will take place in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, from 24 to 25 October 2025.

It will serve as a global hub for collaboration, innovation, and industry leadership across both the fashion and textile industries.

What attendees can expect from this year’s IAF and ITMF event

Insightful discussions: The joint IAF World Fashion Convention and ITMF Annual Conference will address how to manage uncertainty in global trade, leverage emerging technologies, and enhance industry sustainability.

Esteemed speakers: Industry leaders from prominent organisations such as H&M, Inditex, Disney, Hugo Boss, PVH, and Zegna will be joined by experts from McKinsey, BCG, the World Bank, and the OECD to share their perspectives.

Networking opportunities: A platform for interaction with senior executives, association heads, manufacturers, retailers, and policy influencers who are instrumental in shaping the international apparel and textile sectors.

Local industry exploration: Participants will have the chance to delve into Indonesia’s robust textile market and connect with key figures within the local apparel landscape.

The IAF noted the convention is more than just a series of talks; it represents a collective step towards industry-wide advancement. It also emphasises cooperative efforts, innovation, and responsible practices.

This year’s event builds on the success of the previous event held in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, which saw participation from nearly 400 delegates representing 44 countries. The upcoming convention is anticipated to continue this legacy of impactful discourse and collaboration.

In September 2024, IAF president Cem Altan urged garment manufacturers to take the initiative on digitalisation during the introduction of the joint IAF and ITMF conference hosted by UzTextilProm in Uzbekistan.
