German fashion brand Hugo Boss has developed a digital showroom for its Hugo brand that will see it stop preparing complete collections of physical samples for the line’s order phase and instead offer the brand exclusively in digital form.
Launched last week in Berlin to present the Hugo Pre-Fall Collection for 2018, the digital showroom at first glance resembles a table. However, it houses an agile software package that can showcase a complete collection, display the various colour and combination options, and even allow orders for collection pieces to be placed directly.
Developed specifically for Hugo Boss, the digital showroom – which boasts a 65-inch touch screen – offers the complete collection, including the entire range of available colours and combination options, to customers exclusively in digital form, thereby working to reduce complexity and ensuring maximum flexibility.
Following its debut in Germany, the digital showroom will be rolled out globally in 2018.
