Global Fashion Agenda’s upcoming commercial series is being produced by BBC StoryWorks Commercial Productions.

The ‘Fashion Redressed’ series sequel comes as the Global Fashion Summit draws near, which is a global event for sustainability in the fashion industry.

The new series will delve into an industry experiencing profound change, shifting from making pledges to taking swift and decisive action.

Central to the series is the goal of educating viewers and highlighting obstacles currently faced by the industry.

The programme will feature accounts from organisations and pioneers who are striving to complete the loop within a circular economy, foster increased social equality through united efforts, or reshape the future of fashion with groundbreaking technologies and innovations.

GFA chief executive officer Federica Marchionni said: “We are eager to continue building our work to amplify content that inspires and educates audiences around the world. As our industry focuses this year on transforming barriers into bridges, it’s more important than ever to bring to screen stories of courageous leadership, creativity and optimism that can help accelerate that journey.”

With an audience of over 5m video views and engagement on social media platforms, ‘Fashion Redressed’ struck a chord with viewers worldwide, says GFA.

Presented at the Global Fashion Summit events held in Copenhagen and Boston, it stirred discussions about the direction of fashion and merged narratives with industrial creativity.

The GFA initiated the ‘Fashion Redressed’ series in 2023 to showcase sustainable innovations in fashion and celebrate the individuals driving these changes.

Premiering on BBC.com, the series cast a spotlight on inventive approaches that contribute to social and environmental betterment – ranging from biomimicry experts in Helsinki to initiatives promoting cultural recognition in Arizona.

Scheduled for release on a specially designed microsite hosted by BBC.com in early 2026, the upcoming series aims to draw on BBC.com’s 175m monthly visitors. This reach is set to be further expanded through promotion by GFA channels and its extensive network.

Last month, GFA explored the essential roadmap for unlocking the potential of textile-to-textile recycling and establishing upstream circular ecosystems at scale in a new podcast series.
