Textile ETP’s circular textile project is based on partnering with businesses and clusters across the textile value chain to support sustainable growth.
It hopes its collaborations will unlock concrete business opportunities to accelerate the adoption of innovative solutions that align with the circular economy.
The Solstice consortium is EU-wide and covers the whole value chain in textiles and plastics. It aims to raise customer awareness, enhance recycling with new sorting methods, ensure feedstock traceability using the Digital Product Passport, and provide data and guidelines to decision-makers.
The project will adopt a holistic approach that encompasses all stages of waste prevention, including: reject/reduce, reuse, repair, repurpose and recycle.
These five solutions will be tested and refined in demonstrations conducted in four European cities and regions: Grenoble (France), Berlin (Germany), Prato (Italy), and Catalonia (Spain).
The project’s consortium of 24 partners includes the Circle Economy Foundation, Circular Berlin, Confederación de la Industria Textil (TEXFOR) and Techtera.
