The fair showcased a blend of emerging trend brands and well-known labels, ranging from streetwear to high-end fashion. Attendees also benefited from top-level networking and business services, with numerous opportunities for international brands to engage in the market, explained the organisers.
China National Textile Council president and China National Garment Association and CHIC president Chen Dapeng said: “CHIC is much more than a trade fair – it is the central hub for the fashion industry in Asia. CHIC Shanghai unveiled 12 distinct themed areas across five expansive halls that showcased a myriad of fashion concepts and innovative ideas.
Notably, the PH Value segment was featured as a show-in-show at CHIC, drawing participation from 150 knitwear brands.
The China Fashion E-commerce Innovation Summit at CHIC featured discussions on sales models by industry leaders Zhang Hang from Tmall, Du Ye from Xiao Hongshu, Chen Jingfu from TikTok China, and Linda He from Amazon.
CHIC also offered insights into best practices and collaborative opportunities for fashion companies. Renowned fashion brands and designers like Xun Ruo, Goelia, Ci Xu or Chen Peng shared their triumphant omnichannel retail experiences.
The spring edition of this year’s CHIC emphasised efficient B2B networking with over 80 bespoke business matchmaking events fostering essential contacts between international brands and leading retailers.
CHIC is set to return this year with its autumn event from 2-4 September 2025 at the National Exhibition & Convention Centre in Shanghai.
