Leading Sri Lankan garment exporter Brandix has successfully implemented a new PLM system to help improve processes, products and decision-making.
The firm, which provides end-to-end solutions and is a preferred supplier to some of the leading retail brands in the US and Europe, has invested in Centric Software’s Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) solution to help manage data flows and communication.
Brandix operates 42 apparel manufacturing units in Sri Lanka, India (a 1000-acre self-sufficient industrial park) and Bangladesh, with additional operations in Haiti, Cambodia and the UK – and more than 45,000 employees.
“Considering the size of our organisation and the complexity of our requirements, going live on time is a testament to the capabilities of Centric’s solution,” says Surendra Karunakaran, CIO of Brandix Lanka Limited.
“We are poised to step into the future with plans to aggressively grow our business,” Karunakaran adds, noting the PLM tool “supports us with a robust and unified development process across the entire organisation.”
