Quality control, supplier auditor, and product testing and inspection provider AsiaInspection is changing its name to QIMA to better convey the range of services it offers.

“Now that our line of services has expanded into lab testing and supplier audits, coupled with the fact that our focus is far greater than Asia, we feel that ‘AsiaInspection’ no longer reflects who we are,” the company says.

The new name QIMA, which can be read as Quality Inspection Management, will take effect from December. The company’s Hong Kong headquarters’ legal entity name will change from AsiaInspection Limited to QIMA Limited in name only. Then, in each country where it operates, the firm says it will progressively change entity names.

“Our new QIMA brand represents much more than a name change for us. It carries our ambition to keep on bringing you intelligent quality and compliance solutions, combining the latest technologies with our global presence on the ground.”

The company adds that none of its services will be affected by the change.
