Multinational footwear and accessories retailer Aldo has implemented a new online ordering system to give complete visibility and control of its ticketing process and help get products to shelves faster.
The Montreal, Canada based group has 3,000 points of sale in over 100 countries around the world, and is working with FineLine Technologies to supply its shoe box labels, accessory retail stickers and hang tags.
FineLine’s FastTrak ordering system means the Aldo Group’s vendors can place orders, check order status, track shipments and review order analytics – all directly online.
In addition, all ticket and label orders are produced and shipped within 48 hours and delivered on average within five days, worldwide. FineLine’s customer service teams in the US, Asia and Europe also provide daily support to the company and their vendor community.
Since completing the on-boarding process, the Aldo Group and its vendors are said to have experienced significantly faster turnaround times on receiving orders and an overall speeding up of the supply chain, ultimately getting products to shelves faster.
“FineLine’s persistent and impeccable customer service, speed to our markets and IT capabilities all help support our growing business and meet our constantly shifting business requirements,” says Sebla Kip, director customer operations, Aldo Group.
