Top five apparel companies in India’s IT recruitment activity in October 2022
The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, have accounted for a combined average decline of 55.2% share in the overall IT recruitment activity of India’s apparel industry during October 2022 over September 2022.
Amazon posted 124 IT jobs in October 2022 and registered a drop of 57.53% over the previous month, followed by Target with 19 jobs and a 51.28% drop. NIKE with 10 IT jobs and Walmart with 8 jobs, recorded a 56.52% decline and a flat growth, respectively, while Inter IKEA Holding recorded a decline of 46.15% with 7 job postings during October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in October 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 58.15%, down by 33.13% from September 2022. Entry Level positions with a 23.91% share, registered a decline of 72.84% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 17.93% share, down 59.76% over September 2022.
