The event, which is being organised by AMI, will bring together key players from the textile industry to drive forward efforts in textile waste recycling.

The Textiles Recycling Expo will feature leading exhibitors and showcase the latest innovations aimed at tackling the growing issue of textile waste. The event has already garnered strong backing from key players across the textile recycling industry. Some of the exhibitors include Circle-8 Textile Ecosystems, Clooseoop (a division of DBT Fibre), Coleo, Andritz, Carbios, Dell’Orco & Villani, Stadler, Tomra and Valvan.

Additionally, the event will host a high-level conference where industry experts, innovators, and stakeholders will share insights and explore the latest developments in textile recycling. A key area of focus for the expo will be the automation of textile waste sorting.

By partnering with ReHubs, AMI’s event management strengths will combine with ReHubs’ extensive network and commitment to promoting circularity in the textile sector.

As part of the collaboration, ReHubs will shape the conference programme, contributing insights from within the industry.

ReHubs executive director Chris Deloof said: “ReHubs is delighted to collaborate with AMI on this Expo for textiles recycling. This event provides a unique opportunity for the entire textiles recycling ecosystem to come together, exchange knowledge, and advance the adoption of recycled fibres and circular business models.”

AMI, with extensive experience in organising events such as the Plastics Recycling World Expos for the global plastics industry, is expanding its focus via this new initiative.

By joining forces, AMI and ReHubs aim to create an event that fosters connections, facilitates knowledge exchange, and generates industry-wide impact.

This collaboration aims to establish the Textiles Recycling Expo as one of the leading platforms for advancing textiles recycling in Europe.

AMI sales manager Zied Chetoui said: “The Textiles Recycling Expo represents a crucial step forward for the industry as we work collectively to build a circular future for textiles and we believe collaborating on this event with ReHubs will bring significant value to the industry through empowering stakeholders from across the value chain.”

In December last year, ReHubs partnered with fashion companies including Inditex and Mango to advance the textile recycling capacity across Europe.
