The solution integrates TrusTrace’s supply chain traceability platform, Xoriant’s data architecture expertise, and Carbon Trail’s environmental impact data to support brands in meeting growing regulatory demands and consumer expectations for transparency and sustainability.

It enables brands to verify and communicate product-specific claims about their manufacturing processes and environmental impacts.

This includes tracking key sustainability metrics such as carbon, water, and land use while ensuring compliance with standards like the Green Claims Code, updated in 2023 to factor in product-specific environmental impact.

It aims to ensure claims are clear, accurate and not misleading. It also seeks to provide specific and clear information about the materials used, it has accurate product filters and avoids misleading imagery. It supports any claims with verifiable strategics and third party accreditation.

With the European Union’s Digital Product Passport initiative set to take effect between 2026 and 2030, brands will be required to provide accessible and transparent product information. The new solution allows companies to incorporate this data via QR codes or digital tags, giving consumers insight into a product’s environmental impact and supply chain.

“Through this trifecta partnership, we’re delivering a joint solution with robust data architecture and real-time supply chain insights”, says sales TrusTrace vice president Shyam Pawar.
